Cetostearyl Alcohol
It plays the role of an emulsion stabilizer when combined with other more water-resistant emulsions such as tube emulsions (negatively charged) to form a g/m-type emulsion with good stability over a wide pH range. This substance is also used in the preparation of non-aqueous creams and stickers.

Cetostearyl alcohol can be used as a humectant, emulsifier, and viscosity-increasing agent. This substance is used in the manufacture of cosmetics and oral or topical forms. In topical forms, this alcohol is a strengthening agent and an emulsifying agent in both types of g/m and m/g emulsions.
