Aluminum Silicate
Aluminum Silicate is used in the manufacture of glass and ceramics. Its crystallization is marked by its beautiful color and distinct luster that made it suitable for using as Precious stones and in ornaments and decoration of buildings.
The most famous of these crystals:
Moonstone.
(Milky white pyrite), amazon stone.
(Microline green), labradorite.
Description
It is the silica that was made completely from aluminum on the basis of alumina and silica. It can be classified into two main groups: alkaline aluminum silicate and plagioclase, basing on other components it contains. All alkaline aluminosilicates contain potassium and most of them also contain sodium, and microcline is the most common mineral in this group.
