Monoethanolamine
Ethanolamine molecules are inserted into the formation of cell membranes, so it is one of the essential substances that life depends on. Previously, it was thought that ethanolamine existed only on earth and some other planets, but some evidences were found in 2021 showing ethanolamine molecules also exist in space and between stars. It helps in creating various group of poly ethanolamine compounds that organize many physiological processes in animals and plants such as seed germination, reactions between plant pathogens, chloroplasts development, floral composition in flowering plants and forage plants. Ethanolamine also reacts with arachidonic acid.
Ethanolamine (also known as diethanol or monoethanolamine) is an organic chemical compound with the molecular formula HOCH2CH2NH2 or C2H7NO. The bifunctional ethanolamine molecule contains a primary amine and a primary alcohol. Ethanolamine is a colorless, viscous liquid with an ammonia odor.
