Description
It is widely used in water treatment as a flocculant substance, about 20 g/L is added to the treatment tank, and then the pH of the medium is raised by adding for example calcium hydroxide which leads to the precipitation of aluminum hydroxide attracting colloidal particles by electrostatic attraction. After that, the material floating on the surface can be removed easily.
