Description
It is a colorless transparent crystal substance or a salty odorless white powder. It is heated to 350-400° C to lose all crystal water which is anhydrous borax (Na2B4O7) with a density of 1.72 g/cm3. It is soluble in water and glycerol, but insoluble in alcohol.
