Butyl Glycol is a clear, colorless, oily liquid with a high boiling point, low volatility and slightly fruity odor. It has a bifunctional nature containing an ether and alcohol group in the same molecule as other glycol ethers.
It is fully miscible with water and a variety of organic solvents. This excellent compatibility makes it a versatile solvent that provides excellent performance properties in a wide range of applications.
